Galerie Simpson is honored to be supporting Marc Rees's "Now the Hero" with Simon Periton’s exhibition "Your War, My Love" from the 1996 piece of the same name. As well as his incredible hand cut panel, Galerie Simpson will be exhibiting several reverse glass portraits of the artists grandfather in his First Word War uniform.

Simon (1964), studied at Central St Martin's School of Art and has exhibited internationally. Commissions include public sculpture projects for firstsite, Colchester, Essex, Channel Four, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Galerie Simpson, will also work off site with long term gallery collaborator Fiona Banner on a new wall piece in Swansea (placing tbc). Turner Prize nominated Banner will create something to complement her solo show "Buoys Boys" at the Mission Gallery. Simon is also exhibiting in "On Paper", opening at the Glynn Vivian on the same evening.
